Go onto your iOS or Android App Store and search for “Fed Up Caribbean”
How do I search for Surplus Food Deals?
Once you have created an account on the Fed Up App, click “Browse” and you can search by Vendor or by Food type
What types of Surplus Food can I find via the Fed Up App?
It depends on which Vendors have register on the App and if and when they post Surplus Food for sale. This may include various types of cooked food, Ready To Eat / Grab & Go meals, Baked Goods, Produce, Vegetables, Fruits, Desserts, Snacks, etc.
Fed Up focuses on / prioritises locally grown, local value added, locally made, manufactured and / or processed foods
Can the App notify me of Surplus Food deals based on my account preferences?
Not at this time but we expect to have this update soon
How do I Reserve posted Surplus Food
Once you select your options, simply click the “Reserve” button. You would have a time limit for this Reservation
I have dietary restrictions, how can I filter my preferences?
After signing up on the Fed Up App, you can refine your Dietary Preferences under your Account
Can I pay for my transaction on the App?
Not at this time, but you can reserve your deal (for 30 minutes)
What happens if the Surplus Food that I reserved is not available when I arrive at the Vendor
Provided that you have arrived at the Vendor within the stipulated time limit and the Vendor does not have the Surplus Food available, you can email us at info@fedupcaribbean.com with this information. While we will make every attempt to investigate the matter, Fed Up Caribbean is not party to the transaction between you as the User and the Vendor
Can I post a review of the Surplus Food and / or the Vendor
Yes, provided that you comply with the relevant clauses of the Fed Up App and Website User Terms and Conditions
Is Fed Up only focused on reducing Food Waste?
At the moment, yes. However, we have plans to expand the App towards reducing other types of Consumer, Commercial and even Industrial Waste
